Volleyball Booster Club
Purpose & Objectives
Section 1: The purpose of the Lumpkin County High School Volleyball Booster Club is to promote the sport of volleyball for the students of Lumpkin County High School. The Club will establish an ongoing dialogue and working relationship with the LCHS administration and coaching staff to ensure that its participation in, and support of, the volleyball program is always consistent with the highest goals, expectations and aspirations of the athletic competition among the students.
Section 2: The objective of the Club is to support the long-term growth of the LCHS Volleyball Program and to ensure that the students have proper training, equipment and facilities in which to learn and compete. Club activities and fundraising are to be conducted solely on an as needed and on-going basis (not for profit).
The goals include but are not limited to the following:
• To provide general operational support (financial & otherwise)
• To develop a sense of pride and tradition for the students, coaches and parents
• To promote and publicize the high school volleyball program in the Dahlonega community
• To recognize accomplishments of the team, the players and the coaches
Membership in the Lumpkin County High School Volleyball Booster Club is open to parents or legal guardians of athletes.
